WHERE: San Diego, California
WHAT: With a population of 11,000 homeless inhabitants, you will get to experience what life is like living on the streets as we do just that with the following two options:
Track 1: Between Monday morning and Friday evening we will camp out on the street and live as homeless people, caring for them, begging and camping-out, living the life that they live for 5 days and 4 nights on the street. We will get our meals from begging and from waiting in the feeding lines provided by churches each day during lunch and dinner.
Track 2: Between Monday morning and Friday evening we will serve alongside La Jolla Community Church each day at lunchtime to provide meals for the homeless community of the Mission Bay area. Each evening, on the same days, we will work alongside different churches to provide dinners for the homeless of San Diego, primarily in the Ocean and Pacific Beach communities. Overnights will not be on the street, but rather in residential homes provided by the church.
Both experiences will seek to care for the homeless and to look for a lost man by the name of Ed Pelzner. These trips are incredibly moving and life changing as we seek to love and serve fellow humans who have lost their way. Either option is a tremendous opportunity to impact others, while leaving your comfort zone to be stretched mentally, spiritually and emotionally. You will certainly be changed for the better on this excursion!

WHO: Adults Only
WHEN: September 17-23, 2017
COST: $375 (does not include flight but does include two nights stay in a nice hotel, two breakfasts and transportation for the team all week long to serve the homeless around the San Diego area. People must fly into San Diego, CA on or before Sunday evening, September the 17th and book a return flight anytime on or after Saturday morning, September the 23rd.)
